For adults with treatment-resistant depression whose current episode has not responded adequately to at least two different antidepressant treatments.
SPRAVATO® is a nasal spray. The client self-administers it in the clinic under the direct supervision of a healthcare professional.
Monitoring takes place in the clinic after dosing. Blood pressure is checked before treatment and again at about 40 minutes; the client leaves only once clinically stable.
For treatment-resistant depression, the induction phase typically starts twice weekly for 4 weeks, after which the interval is gradually extended according to response and the individual treatment plan.
